Brief Introduction
Li Jian is currently a professor at the School of Computer Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is leading the Software-Defined Cloud Platform (SDIC) research group, based at the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Scalable Computing and Systems. His research areas include high-performance network virtualization methods, resource scheduling methods, and novel cloud computing platform technologies.
Education
He received his bachelor's degree from Tianjin University in 2001, his master's degree from Nancy University 1, France in 2003, and his doctoral degree from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lorraine, France in 2007. His master's and doctoral dissertations were completed at the INRIA laboratory in France. From 2007 to 2008, he was a postdoctoral researcher and visiting scholar at the University of Toronto and McGill University in Canada.

He has published over 50 high-level papers, including in journals such as JSAC, TC, TPDS, TDSC, TCC, JCST, and IEEE Micro, and conferences such as ASPLOS, EuroSys, SigMOD, Infocom, PPoPP, ATC, Middleware, HPDC, SoCC, and VEE.
